Gyubin Park, graduate student, won the JCK MEMS/NEMS 2026 Excellent Oral Presentation Award

Gyubin Park, a graduate student in the combined master's and doctoral program (Advisor: Professor Jeongyeol Park), won the Best Oral Presentation Award at the Korea-China-Japan MEMS/NEMS Joint Academic Conference (JCK MEMS/NEMS 2026) held at BEXCO in Busan from July 8th to 10th.
Graduate student Gyubin Park presented research results on the topic “A Multimodal Ionic Transistor Enabled by Wavelength-Specific Plasmonic Base Modulation.”
In this study, we proposed a multimode ion transistor that can optically and electrically control ion transport and current amplification behavior inside a nanochannel by utilizing the characteristic that a plasmonic base composed of gold and silver nanoparticles exhibits different optical responses depending on the irradiation wavelength.
