Graduate student Doyoung Kim received the Excellence Award at the ‘8th Future Automobile Core Technology R&D Professional Training Project Performance Presentation’

Doyoung Kim's master's course graduate student (advisor: Seok-Hwan Jeong) won the Excellence Award at the '8th Future Automobile Core Technology R&D Professional Training Project Industry-Academic Project Performance Presentation'.
Graduate student Doyoung Kim presented the results of his research on reinforcement learning-based deformable sensorless non-destructive gripping of a direct-drive motor-based multi-joint gripper under the topic of 'Reinforcement Learning Framework for Precise Grasping of Deformable Objects via Direct-Drive Motor-Based Articulated Gripper without any External Sensors'.
A total of 17 teams from 5 universities including our school, Yonsei University, Korea University, GIST, and Incheon National University participated, and graduate student Doyoung Kim received 1st place overall with 99.4/100 points in the oral presentation and the Excellence Award in the vehicle SW track category.
