Professor Eunpyo Choi was appointed as a new faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in March 2025. Professor Choi is an alumnus who completed his bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in mechanical engineering at Sogang University. After working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Washington, he served as a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Chonnam National University before returning to his alma mater.

My research field is microfluidics. We have been conducting research on separating microparticles by size within a microfluidic channel and lab-on-a-chip research utilizing fluid flow and electrokinetic properties generated from nano-pore bundles. At Sogang University, we are leading the Intelligent Biomedical Microfluidics Lab.
