Professor Namkeun Kim joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering in March 2022. He received his B.S. from Seoul National University and his M.S. and Ph.D. from Stanford University.

His Applied Mechanics and Design Lab (AMDL) focuses on biomechanics — hearing mechanics in particular — combined with machine learning and deep learning approaches.
